Hello and welcome to Artaholics Anon. My name is Sara (“Hi, Sara!”) and I’m an artist based in central Tennessee.
I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and made the transition to digital at a very young age. From Microsoft Paint to Photoshop, I’ve used many different programs, but today my main tools of choice are Paint Tool Sai and Medibang Paint on my Samsung Note 10+. I still dabble in other mediums, though, including vector in Inkscape and 3D in Blender.
While I’ve been drawing forever and have done some commission work, I’ve struggled all my life with ADHD and associated Depression, Anxiety, and sleep disorders. I struggle to concentrate and find the motivation needed to even finish pieces on a regular bases, nevermind making it into a career! Nonetheless, my impairments keep me from holding down any traditional job, so I’m not about to give up.
It’s not all so bleak, though--ADHD grants me a unique way of thinking, making lateral connections and finding inspiration others might miss. These bursts of creativity fuel my work, and I’ve come to accept that at any given time I’ll be jumping between about a dozen WIPs. Now, I will chronicle my journey here. Whatever projects strike my fancy or hyperfixations take ahold of me, at least I’ll have WIPs to show for it!
Please feel free to browse my portfolio, and if you want to support me I would be honored if you checked out my store! There you can find t-shirts and other clothing featuring my designs, as well as prints, coloring books, and more. I’m not currently taking commissions, but if you have any other questions or want to reach out to me, check out my contact page or find me on Instagram and Tiktok! Thank you for stopping by!
Live inspired,
Sara
